Dick Dastardly from SCOOB!

This is the final Dick Dastardly maquette I created in Zbrush for WB on the SCOOB! film project. The final production topology that was used in animation was created by the amazing Ricardo Madariaga! The 2d design posted below was created by the legendary Sandro Cleuzo! There were many designs phases that Dastardly went through (so many), and this sculpt was the culmination of a lot of previous design work.
Many talented artists and animators contributed to the final look of this character on screen to really make his appeal and shape work. To me, he landed as cross between Captain Hook and Clayton from Tarzan. :)
